Hello all,
I have recently come across a Diffacto D-Sight AS-2. It actually came as a surprise in a lot with a portable d-sight unit. When I went to pick it up I discovered the larger system was mine as well, and I have to rent a truck to get it.
My question to whomever knows anything about these is weather it is worth my trip and expense back to get it? There is very little about these on the web, except for the precise visual inspection and repeatability these units can produce over a large surface or zoomed on panels and tooling. I believe that Diffracto, out of Canada was bought out by LMI some time ago and possibly dissolved.
Any advice, hands on experience, or knowledge regarding this type of inspection system would be greatly appreciated!
