I want to simulate the effect of mixing two gas streams of different pressures via a jet ejector (eductor). The aim is to use the high pressure gas to induce higher flow to the stream of lower pressure. I am looking for pressure correlations between the two entering pressures and the eductor discharge pressure. I found a graph in Perry’s but there is no way of getting an equation out of the graphs, so that I can simulate the case and quantify the effect of putting an eductor in my system. Any ideas where I can find such correlation?

Go to and register for their free software called Vacworks II.

It has a thermocompressor program in it and it can guide you to what you want to do.

It also has a good section on gas properties.

I had a look at the site, interesting reports. I requested the software but received no response. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Next suggestion is to contact a Graham rep for your area. They have them as give-aways.
