Hi everyone,
I've recently received a list of documents that have different types of P&ID for a system:

P&ID SYSTEM TESTS EDITION
P&ID SYSTEM COLLECTION EDITION
P&ID SYSTEM ASSEMBLY EDITION
P&ID

I know about the usual P&ID but what are the Tests, Collection, and Assembly editions?
I appreciate your help

I'm taking a bit of a guess here but assume

Test edition identifies which sections are subject to either different tests or which whole sections are able to be tested as one unit.
Collection - possibly identifying which sections are grouped together to build up as a single item?
Assembly - again a construction activity maybe showing which bits are built first?
P&ID - the finished article.

Only by looking at examples of each can you work it out if you don't have the philosophy behind it.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

@littleinch Thank you for your answer. It actually kinda makes sense.
The thing is this list of documents belongs to an old project which has been reactivated after 8 years. So there are lots of missing parts there.
