Design Standards For Rotomolded Underground Tanks

In the May/June 2011 issue of Rotoworld magazine there was an article discussing proposed updates to AS/NZS4766:2006 for polyethylene storage tanks. I have not been able to discover if any of those proposals regarding underground tanks have been adopted. They seem very conservative to me. Have any commercial tanks been designed or are being designed to those standards? I am especially interested on comments on the guidelines for Finite Element Analysis of buried tanks.
