Am wondering what people use these days as design references??
Having worked in this field for a number of years with Engineers who are recognised as Industry experts I’ve collated a good deal of knowledge; however generally the quality of designs in the market place seems to be falling and basic issues are being seen by end users. Am curious where people are getting their information and designs from as most of those who have taught historically have left the industry now...

usually people just copy each other, do calculation to code and call it a day honestly. some company keep internal design guidelines.

otherwise, there are old valve design handbooks that can still be used, especially for calculation for non standard flange dimensions.
