Design of strand tie back 75mm away from pile face

Hi everyone.

I am working on designing a strand tie back on an H pile. however, the tie back will be at least 75mm away from the the pile.

is this system of tie backs common? is there a design approach to follow for this? any references to guide me through the design.

What you have sketched is not, IMO, common. What is the horizontal steel member with the different width flanges and where does it go to toward the left (out of the sketch)? Is this a wall-line sheeting system? What is the rectangular steel plate behind the steel angle? Is that the T-section? If so, it should not show in the 2nd sketch because the t-section is in front of the tieback tendon, not behind it. You might be better off installing a small, double channel tieback wale between the webs of the soldier beams. What is the service (unfactored) design load for the tieback anchor and what is the size of the soldier beam?

I am new to designing these systems and i am not sure what to use. in some references, they used this angle with 75mm eccentricity from the pile so I was wondering if i could find some design examples on it.
 
The anchor's eccentricity from the centerline of the soldier beam depends on the flange width of the soldier beam and the diameter of the drill bit or casing pipe. 75mm is probably not enough. The radius of the casing could easily be almost 2.5 to 3 inches and half of the soldier beam flange width could easily be 4 to 7 inches, resulting in an eccentricity of about 6.5 to 10 inches. The question is, What supports the left end of your steel angle? You should label the steel members in your sketches.
