Design of Mutli-Column Bent Pier (3 and more) for Forces Resulting from Plastic Hingimg

Anyone has a reference on the 'actual' design of multi-column bent pier for forces resulting from plastic hinging? I knew how to design single and two columns, however I don't know how to design for three or more columns.
