Design Metal Temperature????? Help please

Hi all,
I need a little help specifying a design metal temperature for an API 650 storage tank. Can there be a rang or temperatures or just one that is calculate. If one, how can this be calculated. I've been reading the standard api book but I am confused!
Any help would be great thanks!

If your tank is in North America, you can use the temperature map in API-650, Section 2 and add 15F. In this case, the DMT = Map Temp + 15F. Let me know how that works for you.
