Design Guides for Repair of Wood Framing From Termite Damage

Is anyone aware of design guides or design resources to repair and replace wood framing damaged by termites? The particular job has damage to roof trusses which would be difficult to remove.

Scabs, braces, and sisters, the difficult part is getting the forces in and out of the existing trusses via the various connections.

As far as determining extent of damage, I don't know of anything.

lex... the article deals with brown rot (aka dryrot) and there are a couple of interesting things for me to add to my own brown rot file. Thanks... I've only once encountered termite issues... it was a matter of removal of the critters and the damage, and re-construction.

There was this interesting seminar I watched once on the various NDT techniques (goes more to scope of work on the strength loss), I'll try to dredge it later.

Repairing and reinforcing wood, not my favorite way to do things, not that there's really a choice. It's always like building a hyperspace bypass....
