Does anybody have a design checklist they would share with me? I used to have a nice one in excel format but I lost that thing years ago.

If it helps, I am a special machine designer.

I think you have to analyse which
are funtional design features
and which are cosmetic like coatings,
plating etc. Emphasis should be the
quality of the design features to
prevent failure and assure quality.
