Hi Guys,
I'm a total newbie to machine design and i've been reading and researching about bearings fitting and mounting methods and which i came up with this design i have as a cam follower block.
I'm confused if this is the right way for the bearing assembly as well as, will the bearing 6205 be strong enough to hold the shaft in vertical position if bearing 6816 act as cam follower (pressure may be 30 psi minimum)
hope that my explanation is understandable.
well, a senior here pointed that i must use 2 bearings (6205 2pieces) but I'm thinking 1 should be sufficient.
I attach my drawings together and hope to get some guidance and advice ya.
