Derived Part/Config Issue 1

I made a derived part and after the fact I needed to add configurations to the parent part. Is there anyway to have the derived part change it’s base part to one of the new configurations. It appears as though it will only load the parent part in its default state.

Right Click the part in the feature tree and select List External Refs...there you can set which configuration to use.....this setting is also configurable in the derived part, so if you have multiple configurations, you can set each one to use a different config from the parent part file that you inserted.
