Hello everyone,
Do you know whether there are certain rules in determining the minimum distances of deluge system fire actuators to transformers (electrical utility)?
The so-called "deluge system fire actuators" are simple actuators that actuate with high pressure N2 gas. Whenever there's a fire at the transformer area, the mechanism heats up and breaks, causing N2 gas to open the deluge valve connected to the firewater network, and then sprinklers release firewater.
On the web it says that theinformation is in NFPA 72, but unfortunately I have only NFPA 1 thru 39 under my hand. Replies highly appreciated.
