How can I delete an individual line
within a drawing view? When I try to
delete a line in a view, the whole
view deletes. I just want the single
line to go away, not the whole view.

Thanks....:)

Read-up on "Hide" in SolidWorks help topics. You should be able to RMB a line segment and Hide it.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of Eng-Tips Forums?

Select the line, not the view, then delete.

If it's a line that's part of the part/assembly, you can't delete it, only hide it like MM mentions. Remember, the drawing views are linked directly to the model. Trying to delete a line in a view would be like trying to delete an edge in the part.

Yes. If it's part of the model, then see Jeff's or MM's suggestions.
