Hi,

I am modelling a composite part with varying wall thickness, so I am using continuum shell elements. According to the CAE manual, right now the shell thickness is being taken as the element thickness. Is there a way of overriding the shell thickness? I want to be able to vary it without having to redraw my base sketch every time. I know that using regular shell elements is an option, but then I would have to drastically modify the sketch from my customer.

Thanks!

I think that's not possible. The manual always says, that the thickness is taken from the continuum.
