Debris load and distribution on flood event

My current design challenge revolves around accurately distributing debris impact loads on walls during flood events. Beyond hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces, I must integrate the impact of debris. Although the debris load is quantified by Fi=W⋅V⋅CD⋅CB⋅CStr, the critical unknown is how to effectively distribute this force across the wall. It's improbable that multiple debris impacts would occur simultaneously or at identical angles. This leads me to consider the distribution of a single impact. My initial thought draws a parallel to the effective width of a T-beam, proposing a distribution width of eight times the slab thickness on either side. For an 8-inch wall, this would mean a 10-foot distribution. While this concept offers a logical starting point, it's currently a conceptual assumption, not a codified or widely accepted practice.
