Hi, I'm looking to de-laminate some aluminum door frames from the existing laminate.
The frames were mistakenly laminated (using primer and glue) at my plant, and we are looking to strip the lamination (as well as the glue/primer).
The glue and primer have already cured, and pulling and heating the laminate doesn't do the trick. The laminate is a 0.2 mm themoplastic PVC film. The aluminum frames are powder coated and ideally I'd like to avoid damaging the paint..

I was thinking to use a steam washer or something of the sort. Any ideas?

Your adhesive is very likely a thermoset, which will not appreciably soften with heating like a thermoplastic. The temps required to break the bond will likely ruin your powder coating.
