We were having an issue with our PDMWorks vault this last week and since I can see it happening to others out there, I thought I would pass along the solution.
The problem that we were seeing was that all of the files that we were checking in were getting red flagged as being a different file than the one in the vault. To complete the check in we would have to manually select every part / assembly in the list that we wanted to check in. This in turn would generate a warning box for each item checked.
I believe the cause of this is that, with the time change this weekend, the time stamp of the files in the vault changed, and this was making the file look like it was a different file, but with the same name, than the one that it though it had in the vault.
What seems to have fixed the problem was restarting the vault. However, the vault must be set to validate itself at startup. This can be set through the vault admin tool to occur at every startup or just the next startup. It took around 20 min for the vault to complete the restart, but it seems to have fixed the issue.
