datum curve broken refs?

Hi I am trying to redefine a crashed datum curve in WF5. But I can’t seem to get it right. I am prompted to “Confirm removal of points not on surface and existing tweak” I do so, select the points and get a good looking preview. After that I’m stuck, when I click the done buttom the select item menu returns and I can’t move on. Does anyone have a solution?

You can try to do an edit references on the curve. It works... sometimes. Otherwise, create a new curve, and then do an edit references/replace reference by feature.

you should be aware that before you start with selecting new or removing the existing points all tangency constraints/conditions for Start/End must be cleared.

Without that, I assume Pro/E won`t let you define new Start/End point.
