Im interested in collecting a microphone, accelerometer, impulse, and tach signal for vibration data analysis. I need to collect data from a small gear box. Preferably a PC based device with a spectra capablilty, waterfall plot, etc. Primarily interested in determining the component responsible for create objectionable sound levels.

Anyone have any systems they like?

Thanks,

Prosig make just the thing. Check out their demo to see if you like. Ours cost rather a lot, but then they do give us 32 or 64 channels and some fairly specialised software. Cheers
