There was a question about the best way to protect your privacy online. I think the obvious answer was VPN among the choices they offered (the other options listed were not great). A clever marketing tool by Nord Vpn.
I’m not saying cyber security and privacy aren’t huuuge things to concern ourselves with these days, but this questionnaire seems contrived at least in part to drum up business for NordVpn.
VPN is certainly safer if you are practicing unsafe surfing. But if you are interacting in secure fashion with someone you trust (a bank etc), vpn would just be someone in the middle with potential access to the data. That's not a criticism (maybe it's obvious, and I'm not sure how they market their service), just an observation.
