Hi, Im after some advise on cutting stainless steel with polycoating on a bytsronic byspeed 4400.
The material thickness is 0.8mm and 1.2mm, we have been using a laser specific coating which works well, but because of costs we are attempting to cut a less tacky non laser spec coating. Has anyone any advice on methods of reducing the blowing up of plastic coating. I am reluctant to vaporize the profile/lead ins first because of the extra time taken.

HK20 or larger nozzle, lower gas pressure, lower power and a lower feed rate. Use the "gas ramp" option, set it to about .5-.8 seconds.
