Cutting a solid

Hi all,
HELP!!!!
I am trying to cut an extruded solid using a surface. It keeps on saying "Operation failed due to geometric condition."

Everything looks OK. No surface errors. Am I missing something?

Does your Surface cut all the way through the entire part?

Are you using the Cut-extrude with a surface Command?
