I have a question for anyone that has experience with a ByStronic BySmart Fiber laser, ours is a 3015 model.
At the facility where I work we have this machine and it cuts most of the stainless and carbon steel parts well.
I have a question about cutting thicker carbon steel? Specifically .50 inch and .625 thick carbon steel.
We have been changing the cutting technologies and trying to figure it out, but when we find a good one that cuts clean on a sample piece.
The problem is that when we apply these technologies to the actual part.
It doesn't cut as well on the multiple parts. One may cut clean, the others have slag and sometimes doesn't cut all of the way through.
We are getting frustrated. We contact the help department of the manufacturer and it is little to no help.
Does anyone have any suggested settings or parameters that could work for us ?
