I have been fighting the cutcom command for some time now and I'm losing (wf2). Within the tool parameter I set cutcom 'on' then set lead_in & lead_out to yes, then fill in the lead_radius,tangent_lead_step and the normal_lead_step question boxes. When I try to run the tool I get "Tool path could not be created"

What type of NC sequence are you using? (Volume, Trajectory, etc)

I'm using volume mill....

First make sure that the scan type is either "Rough & Profile" or "Profile only". For cutter comp to work, you must have the "profile" turned on. If the lead-ins or lead-outs gouge the part, the cutter path could fail. Try turning off "cutcom" and the "lead-ins/lead-outs". If the cutter path resumes, then resume the lead-ins. If the cutter path is still there, resume the lead-outs. If the path is still there, turn on "cutcom". Let me know at which point the path fails.

Many thanks AllenP, me & cutcom are now getting to know each other....
