Custom Layer Filters

Is there a way to create a layer filter that will put an assembly component on a specific layer? Through user defined parameters maybe

You can do a search Find (the field glasses icon). Probably do it by name. If you have multiple search criteria, select Options > Build Query. Once the search returns what you want, select Options > Save Query. This creates a layer with items by rule. Any new components meeting your criteria will automatically be added to the layer.



I don't know if it can be done in earlier releases.
