I want to build my own custom cable tester to check continuity and for shorts at the same time. My maximum number of contacts is 12. This is how I would like for it to work. Pin #1 is checked against all other pins for shorts. Then pin #2 is checked...and so on, until all pins are checked. What type of components would I need to achieve this?
