how can i make the toolpath to follow the datum curves in pro/manufacturing.

I presume you are in either Turn or Mill/Turn in Manufacturing mode. First create cross-section curves of the part and follow the ff steps : (1) create profile by sketching (2) Select Use Edge to (chain) the curves intended for toolpath - I advise usage of Query Select. (3) Left mouse click on the vortex of the arrow & Right Mouse click to hit starting point. (4) Upon exit from Sketcher be sure the arrow points towards the material side.(5)Select Tool and set parameters(6) Select references as prompted by Pro/NC and Play Path.
