current instead of voltage to exicite mems device transient dynamic

i am looking to use current pulse instead of voltage pulse to exicite a mems cantilever device in a transient dynamic analysis. nomarlly when i am using voltage (square pulse) i write a short text file and read it in as an input file. can the same be done using a current pulse (sat square pulse)
