Hi ,

I need clarification when I specify accuracy class of a current transformer as 0.3 B 1.8 what exactly it means?

Regards

ESW,

0.3 percent accuracy at 100% rated current into a standard impedance (burden) of 1.8 ohms (45 VA at 0.9 pf).

This is a metering accuracy, so the CT may or may not be suitable for relaying.

For more info, go to GE Industrial Systems website and search for "Instrument Transformers Buyers Guide".
