I have an application for a unwinder for the web industry. The conveyor belt (20") wide engages the mill/parent roll of material (40" od) to unwind the product. I need to unwind at 2000 feet per minute and I have hesitations about the "proper" crown for the pulley for tracking. The conveyor design is basically a "L" laid down with the belt taunt between the 2 ends of the "L" and pivots as the roll diamter decreses. The distance between the pulleys is 40.50". In the past my company has had problem with "v" guided belt due to side loading from the parent roll. Thanks in advance for your help.

This thread has some links for resources on how to design the crown. ISZ
