CROSS HATCH QUESTION 1

IN NX5, I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN TRYING TO ADD A CROSS HATCH AREA ON MY DRAWING. THE OUTER BOUNDARY OF THE CROSS HATCH IS CREATED ON THE DRAWING SHEET. THE INNER BOUNDARY IS A HOLE LOCATED ON ONE OF THE COMPONENTS. I'VE ATTACHED A FILE WITH THE ERROR MESSAGE SCREEN.

You'll just have to expand the view and add the curve inside the view rather than to the face of the drawing.

... to expand the view rmc (right moue click) on it and go to "expand" Then to go back to the drawing rmc outside of what is shown as the drawing border and toggle off "expand".
If you curves do not show up in the view then make sure the layer that the curves are being placed in is turned on in "visible in view" for that view
