Creo pre select highlight change

Anyone know if you can change the preselect highlight behavior back to the way wildfire was? So that it highlights in wireframe and doesn't pull the whole part/feature forward and block your view of what is behind, or inside of assembly parts. Highly annoying and I can't believe no one else has had issue with this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
