OK, I'm trying to model vessel movements in a port. My model requires the tide levels. They don't need to be 100% accurate, but I want them to be better than simply a sine curve. At present, this is all I am using, in the form:

={Tidal Height}*SIN({Time}/{Tide period}*2*PI())

Tidal height is a constant (so far) but I'd like it to vary between springs and neaps, and also provide different heights for each daily high/low tide.

Can anybody help?
