I am having problems generating features from DXF file

I have a DXF drawing from which I created a draft file. I then copied outline into sketch on a part. I can see sketch in part but cannot create cut or protrusion. When I use include in feature sketch I cannot select lines generated from DXF even though it is visible.

Also DXF features cannot be made visible in drawing views of part.

Hi,
A possible cause of not being able to create a protrusion/cut is that the elements of the sketch are not joined correctly. Often there are gaps or overlaps caused by inaccuracies in the dxf data. Try trimming the corners to close the gaps.
This would not explain the second problem, but it's worth a try.
