Hi All,

Is it possible to create new hatch (fill) styles or import ready to use hatch styles from AutoCAD Hatch Patterns.

If so how would one go about this?

if not, why not? or is that just being silly expecting a answer to why not ;-)

Cheers

you can define a new hatch/fill style:

1) define a new Hatch and name it
2) define a new fill which refers to the previously defined
hatch: set the pulldown to the one defined in 1)
The name should/can be the same as the one used in 1)

You can import style from other SE-Files but AFAIK not
from ACAD (different construction method, I think)

What happens if you import an AutoCad drawing that has hatching on it?
Do the hatch styles get created in the SE draft?

bc.

Quadro FX4600.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

BC,

SE will map the names(!) to the equivalent style names in SE.
Have a look into the seacad.ini below this line
