Creating Construction Sections in NX 9.0 1

What is the best way to create construction sections in NX9? I'm wokring in a part and have added all of the background data. Now I just want to cut sections through it resulting in dead curves (preferrably a quick way that doesn't include traslating data etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

Insert -> Derived Curve -> Section.
Change the dialog to Parallel Planes and tick off the associative box.
