Hello, I have a spherical solid, and want to mesh it with tetrahedral.

However, I have a small square surface in the center of the sphere. Is there any way to force Patran to generate a tetrahedral mesh on the sphere, which is also conformal to that small surface in the center?? That is to say, in that 2D square surface, I get triangular mesh conformal to the 3D tetrahedral mesh. Thanks!!

You would have to split the sphere in half along the plane of the 2D square surface, define a surface which defines your 2D square and put a trimmed surface around it with a hole for the square area. Make two b-rep solids either side of your square and use the SAME surfaces on the interface to make sure that the meshes match.
