The first thing you need to worry about is knowing Visual Basic.
If you Do know visual basic, catia comes with a VB editor (but then again, if you know VB you probubly dont want to be using the editor that Catia comes with). Just open up the VB Editor "Tools -> Macro -> Visual Basic Editor". Open up one of the pre-existing script files, and basically just copy what they did.
