Hello everyone,

I am using Solidworks 2013 and I am looking into creating a table that would automatically be placed in each drawing file. I would like this to showcase the job number that the drawing is for as well as the quantity of that part.

We use a numbering system for each part we design, after it is designed and approved it moves into a "Vault" where it can not be changed. If a part needs to be altered it is released with a new part number so we can manage every piece that has been released. When we make a part it is very possible that it can be used multiple times in different jobs, so we can't place a permanent job number or quantity on each drawing. At this point we are printing a "stamp" sheet that only has job number and quantity in the bottom left corner, and printing it over our existing set of drawings. After this, we add the quantity for each part by hand before sending it to our manufacturing department.

Any insight as to how this is accomplished would be great!

Also, I'm new to the engineering field and to Solidworks as well, hope I don't make you too frustrated!
