Cracks on column peirs 1

Hi all,

We have noticed cracks (as attached file) in column pier upon removal of insulation sheets. Please advise on possible reasons for such cracks.

Those are map cracking. They are related to an accumulation of water against the form, then drying shrinkage. They have no structural implication.
