Hi, I created a crack in metal layer bonded with composites. Then, it came out
"MATERIAL ALONG THE CRACKFRONT MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE FOR THE CALCULATION OF K FACTORS"

Can we calculate stress intensity K in hybrid materials?

Stress intensity factor is used for elastic materials only.
