I found this one at Cranfield (UK) that "fitted like a glove" excepting that the same MAY only be offered again as late as May 2006:

"In addition, the Research Group offers a series of extended professional development courses directed at the shipbuilding and offshore industries. These Key Skills 3 + 2 series of courses are aimed at engineers working on design, construction and commissioning of naval ships, offshore platforms and related complex systems.....

The primary objectives of these Key Skills courses are to provide conversion training for science and engineering graduates for active line responsibilities in the design, construction and project management of ship building and offshore projects. The courses can also serve as refresher training and as an introduction to working on all aspects of large complex project.

The following Key Skills 3 + 2 courses are available:
...............................
Marine Platform Systems – Electrical and Communications Options
...................... "

Does anyone know of any alternatives ?
