Counteracting with vibro hammer process to correct longitudinal lean during sheet pile driving

Hi to ALL,

I would just like to ask for tips and recommendations to do the above process to avoid damage to the interlocks during driving.

We're following NASSPA sheet pile guide, and did the following with these results:
- pulled with wire rope to reduce longitudinal lean from 2.7% to 2.2%
- fabricated our tapered piling to correct the 2.2% lean

Moving forward, we are thinking of:
#1 setting the pile
#2 with the hammer at center of gravity of piling, "drive to half the driven length"
#3 then drive rest of the way counteracting with hammer off center of piling

When do you do hammer counteracting in step #3? At 1/3 or 1/2 the driven length?

Are you using "Set & Drive", "Panel Driving", or "Staggered Driving"?

The best way to correct longitudinal lean is to take necessary steps to keep it from happening in the first place.
