i have projected a rectangular trajectory on a cylindrical
surface!! so how could the material be cut?? could it be
cut using the extrude cut option? i mean the projected
figure could be extruded or not??

Firstly, why project a Rectangle on a cylindrical surface and then cut. You might as well use the Rectangle to cut. Projections are generally used to sweep a profile.

Perhaps 'offset with draft feature' is what you need.

Select the trajectory on the cylinder and hit the 'variable section sweep" button. Then hit the sketch tab and sketch your cross section.
