HOW CAN I INCLUDE A COSMETIC NAME TO A FAMILY TABLE ITEM?

FOR EXAMPLE: I HAVE A SCREW THAT HAS A PART NO XXXX,WHEN I PICK IT TO BE A MEMBER OF A FAMILY TABLE IT WILL APPEAR THE XXXX UNDER A PRO-E DESIGNATION ( M1025 - FOR EXAMPLE ).

I NEED TO INSERT THE COSMETIC NAME SCREW INSTEAD OF XXXX BECAUSE I NEED TO HAVE A TABLE WITH THIS WORD ON TOP TO DESIGNATE THIS PART IN MY ASSEMBLY WITH INSTANCES.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME, PLEASE?

I don't think this is possible.

(M1025) is ProE's internal id number.

FWIW: If you goto setup -> name and change the name of a component. In family table instead of Part's name the new name will show up.

Thak you very much!

You saved my day.
