a pipe thats carryin oil and water to a separation plant is being treated "dossing" with a water soluble corrosion inhibitor. The inhibitor is basically a filming Amine. the line is being continuously dosed with 20 ppm of the inhibitor and a residual of around 12 ppm is expected. lab results are showing much lower residuals that the expected return. any one can help in that regard?
