Hi,
I have a pb of corrosion on magnetic catches :
- white corrosion is located between ferrite and pole pieces of magnetic catches
- poles pieces are electro zinc coated mild steel
- pole pieces are in contact with hard ferrite
- outdoot use, exposed to atmospghere humidity but no direct rain
there is white rust on the contact zone (ferrite and zinc coated pole pieces) after 3 days outside
but not rust if zinc coated pole pieces are exposed outside alone
What is the corrosion mecanism with ferrite ?
Any idea to avoid that corrosion pb ?
