Copying multiple items from one assembly to another?

Is it possible? In Pro-E, I just used shift or control, and highlight the ones I want, control-C and switch to my other assembly, control-V, then add my constraints. I can't do more than one item this way in Solidworks.

Looks like there is actually something easier to do in Pro than SW? Huh?!
In this case, I have a microswitch, washers and screws in one assembly that I want to copy over to a similar assembly. If I select all of them, control-C and control-V in the other assembly, all I get is the last item. Can't believe this isn't something SW can do.
I didn't realize how much I used this in the last few years.

I would make my switch and hardware all one assembly, then insert it wherever its used. Set the BOM in the assembly to list all parts instead of subassemblies.

The method TheTick mentions above is what I do... then dissolve it once you insert it into the next assembly. I have used this method to store preferred hardware stackups. Insert the subassembly... then dissolve it.

Thanks guys... Some good workarounds here. I like the idea of making it an assembly then dissolving it. That way I always have the same screws and washers assemble with it. Eliminates remembering what size it uses.

I seem to remember from the SW2013 rollout event I went to last week that you would be able to do this in SW2013. Was pretty slick actually.
