I found a strange behaviour or maybe a bug in NX8.5 when using copy paste a sketch with named expression.

Try to copy paste the sketch MOUTH in NX7.5 without any link with the original sketch (create new expression) ==> all expressions are new

Now

Try to do the same with NX8.5
==> the angular dimension p327 becomes p331 in the sketch MOUTH_0 that it's right
== > But R and R_mouth remain linked that it's wrong

So the function doesn't work with named expression.

Thanks in advance to confirm, then I will open a call to GTAC

Are you copy & pasting into the same part file or a different one?

You're correct, it appears that it is NOT creating new expressions for the named ones, which is not how it behaved in NX 7.5. I checked this with NX 8.5.3.3 and NX 9.0.0.19 and they are both not creating new expressions for the named expressions, only the p-numbered expressions are getting new expressions. I would go ahead and contact GTAC and have them open a PR. If you wish you can mention that I verified that this is still an issue with both the latest MR of NX 8.5 and as well as the production release of NX 9.0.
